The Leverage Deck

The first suit of the deck is the Body.  While every card in this suit has a direct physical focus, it is important to look at the mental, emotional and spiritual connections.  The card depicted is the Neck card.  This is the physical neck with it's inherent ability to change our perspective, swallow, breathe, speak and keep our head up.  This is also the connections to how and what we speak, how we find and maintain our voice and our ability to communicate.  This is what we choose to swallow or cough back up, whether it be food and drink, information, emotion or toxic energy.  Every card in the Body suit has such multiple facets.  Taken as a Leverage Point, they can point to powerful places where your focus and intent can yield noticeable change.  Taken as a Trigger Point, they can feel like raw wounds that exacerbate our current painful state of being.

Magic and Energy are powerfully influenced by the Mind!  Each of the cards in this suit embody powerful concepts.  For instance, the card shown is Reality Check.  They say that the grass grows greener on the other side, yet you can see the potential for rocks and steep slopes.  The bridge between here and there is treacherous, and there is the possibility of a storm brewing on the horizon.  As a Leverage point, this might remind you to look before you leap.  As a Trigger point, it might reveal why you are currently feeling like the ground fell out from under your feet.  While the Body suit may more openly show the physical correspondences, the Mind suit is much more individually connected.  You may feel the stress of the reality check in your head, or your chest, where others might feel it in their knees or back.  The more you learn about yourself, the better you will become at using this tool to create the changes you want to experience.

The soul is inextricably linked to the body and mind.  It influences and is influenced by the other two.  It does have its own structures and common reference points, though, and the suit reflects these concepts.  As with the other suits, while each card within the Soul Suit has specific soul resonances, each card also resonates with physical, mental, and emotional concepts!

Energy is in everything.  It vibrates in every atom.  It is what allows muscles to contract and extend.  It is what allows the neurons of your mind to fire which lets you read, think about and comprehend these words!  It flows in the form of gravity and electromagnetic currents, among so many other forms.  Energy fuels ever emotion and flows in, around and through every living thing.  It permeates solid objects and continues to resonate, sometimes long after the original moment of impact.  Yet, energy too has structure and common reference points.  There are means of using it or being used by it.  The Energy Suit reflects powerful concepts which may be influencing your manifestation!
